It is produced entirely with Sangiovese grapes, vinified and aged in steel at a controlled temperature. Makes a period of aging in bottle before going on the market.
Thanks to its structure, excellent acidity and pleasant fruity taste it can be used both as an aperitif wine and as an accompaniment for appetizers and pasta dishes based on vegetables and meat and with medium-aged cheeses.
Chianti Montalbano DOCG is a very versatile wine in combinations as the history of Chianti teaches us.
It is usually served at 18 ºC in medium-bodied red wine glasses, but in the summer thanks to the softness of its tannins it can also be served at 16 ºC to accompany fish dishes.
