From the blend of the selection of the best Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese

Gioveto wine comes from the blend of the selection of the best Merlot (20%), Syrah (20%) and Sangiovese (60%).

“Gioveto” comes from the old name for Sangiovese in Tuscany, which was called “SanGioveto.”

Vinification is classic red wine making with frequent pumping over, punching down and shorter macerations for Merlot and Syrah and longer for Sangiovese. Gioveto is aged in French Allier oak barriques for twelve months and after bottling it always remains in bottle for another 12 months before being released.

It should be served at 18°C in full-bodied red wine glasses, taking care with oxygenation.
